Brand Strategy & Identity Design
Fig & Bloom – a bespoke, high end florist located on the East Coast of Australia approached us for a full strategy, brand identity and design session. Together we established their unique point of difference, what elevated and separated them from their competitors, who their target demographic were, and their design sensibilities and aesthetic preferences.
Designed at Factory One, Sydney Australia.
Featuring a bold, confident monochromatic colour palette, the brand instantly separated itself from the sage greens, blush pinks and rust terracotta’s that were trending at the time. The bold serif typeface brought a strong sense of modern confidence to the branding, with a departure from the more whimsical script type treatment often associated with floristy.
By creating bold curling ligatures within the logo, we were able to bring that sense of life and motion that plant vines and nature has, while maintaining the intention of the logo. We decided to pair the brand kit with 8 bespoke single-line style illustrations to bring a more delicate element to soften the branding and add additional visual interest.
Brand Strategy & Identity
We collaborated with the client in a 4 hour strategy session to establish the unique aspects of the brand, similarities to their competitors and delve into the essence of the brand. From here we researched thoroughly to create a 60 page strategy and brand guideline.
Stationery & Packaging
Once we had established the backbones of the brand, it came time to create the assets – we created corporate stationery, gifting elements, product packaging and a variety of elements to bring the brand to life across multiple platforms.
Social Media Management
In addition to the physical aspects of the brand, we managed their EDM content and design, 4 weekly blogs, and daily social media. Liaising with a copywriter for content we would plan out, design and post across all social and digital platforms.
